"Review of Hero Clothing"
A review of Hero Clothing by M. Stipanov - Wednesday 23rd of April 2003
When I was at Cambridge Uni ten years ago, I met a boy called James. After weeks of shameless flirting, James invited me to see a college production of 'Loot' for which he had tickets. I accepted. The play was preformed outside as was as witty and delightful as James. As the play concluded, the heavens opened and we made a run for it. James had rooms at Trinity, where we took cover. I slipped out of my wet things and James handed me a long-sleeved top of soft cotton with the words 'Trinity 1st & 3rd Boat Club' across the back and 'HERO' across the front. I found it hard to decide whether to slip on the heavenly top or take the flirting to the next level. I decided not to get dressed and one thing, very quickly, lead to another. I stayed the night, but when I left in the early morning light, I decended the stairs and ran across the courtyard in James's HERO top. Ten years later, I live in Australia and wear the top when I snuggle up on the sofa to watch TV. Some clothing is forever. Hero clothing is forever.
