"Great Local Pub"

A review of The Old Spring by John Clayton - Tuesday 3rd of January 2006

I've recently come across the Old Spring and have to say what a great pub this is.

I have eaten several times recently and each time the food has been excellent. There is also a range of real ales normally 4 or 5 mainly from Greene King and also a few guest ales.

The staff are realy friendly and the service in my experience has always been very good, even when the pub is very busy - which seems to be most of the time.
