"Kid's summer language and activity course"

Everyone wants their children to learn a language these days and these holiday courses are a perfect way to supplement what is taught at school. The courses are fully residential with a high staff/student ratio and they certainly aren't like going to summer school! Language focussed classes in the morning are balanced with a wide range of sports, activities and excursions in the afternoon and evening. With a maximum of 8 kids to a class so much is learnt in a week that parents will really notice a difference, conversationally and hopefully through better marks at school too. Classes are tailored to the level and needs of the students so that class time is used to maximum effect. If you're convinced but your children aren't then a quick look at the activities on offer will certainly change their minds. Besides which they will be mixing in a truly international environment making friends from around the world (international students learn English on the courses too, so if your child is learning French she can share a bedroom with a French student - perfect for naturally improving communication skills!)
I can't recommend CLAC highly enough - take a look at their fun website for all the details. What's comforting is that unlike other activity holidays run by large organisations, CLAC is small and family run, student numbers are strictly limited and you can always speak to the course director who is personally responsible for your child. My son attended and I'm hoping it will still be going strong when my grandchildren are old enough.
