"Small, Friendly, Old Fashioned, Not Cheap!"A review of Hobbs Sports by Dave - Monday 30th of January 2006Advertisements
I have used Hobbs for many years and enjoy the friendly and usually knowledgable service. As other reviewers have said, it is a real sports shop, not a boutique selling fashionable clothes for people who pretend they are fit. It feels a bit cramped at times but there is loads of kit in there, and it smells like a sports shop should. Everything has a down side and you cannot run a shop in a good location like that, with enough staff (and the knowledge levels) by competing with the stack 'em and sell 'em merchants. So you will always find cheaper - but remember, Buyer Beware! |
