A really nice find in a commercialised town. My boyfriend surprised me with his good choice on this one. I'm a fish lover but he found this perfect little place, full of character, rather than plumping for a chain like Loch Fyne. It hasn't got the biggest fish selection, more a good choice on the menu, including some nice fish. You walk in to a lovely cozy bar where you can watch the world go by for a while before being shown round the corner to a lovely small dining area. Service is personal and friendly. You do wait a while for your food, but it is obvious this is a small business and it almost adds to the charm. With a good bottle of wine from a nice selection and good company you won't want to rush - and it gives you time to make room for a rich dessert!!
