This Pub has had some pretty naff reviews in the past, but the new Landlord seems set to turn the place arround. David Constable, who ran the hugely popular Bird in Hand in Newmarket Road has moved across the road to turn the R&C into a pleasant environment - with a lovely new first floor restaurant (but no lift) and excellent menu.
