"A bad impression-will not return"

This was supposed to be a wedding aniversary treat.i booked a table for 2 in advance and duly arrived 5 mins before booked time at 19:30.there was no table for 2 available and we were asked to wait while they prepared one,no problem with that.in the meantime another couple who i've never seen in my life arrived who had not booked and we were asked if we would like to share a table with them.you guessed the answer.after waiting a good 10 minutes more the other couple who had not booked were shown to a table for 2.
i asked where our table was and was told we would have to wait a little longer,this was the last straw and i voted with my feet and walked out.i forgot to add the restaurant was not even half full at the time.
in the end i'm glad we walked out as we had a superb meal at la tasca they had no trouble accommodating us even though they were bursting at the seams.i'm afraid i cannot comment on the food and i won't recommending anybody to this restaurant.
