"Why must I buy Fries and a Drink ????"

Hi.

Can anybody tell me why it is I can't buy just chicken from a KFC outlet? there was a time not too many years ago that I could simply buy a Bucket of chicken or 2 piece's of chicken if I wished, now I can only buy Chicken from KFC stores with other combinations such as fries and drinks.

I find this really annoying as I don't like fries or cold drinks, I do in fact love KFC Chicken but have not been able to buy it for this reason for several years now. It really don't make any sense to me, I can think of no other food outlet that doe's this, for example, if I go to a Pizza Hut, I can buy just a Pizza, from a Chip shop I can buy just chips or just fish or what ever and from McDonalds I can buy just a Hamburger, so why KFC so awkward ??
