A review of Midsummer House by Commuting foodie - Saturday 29th of April 2006

In my experience this restaurant keeps moving forwards, in comfort & design, welcome and passionate knowledge from staff, and most importantly, quietly creative food & wine that shows an independent bent.

Taking credit cards at booking means the restaurant can better stay in business, for us romantic foodies who value longevity. Prices are standard, even low for this grade of cuisine. And complaining of staff enthusiastically describing the food - do you remember places where no-one knows where the dishes are going, nor care? This place is good at what it aims to do - the question is, what do you want it to do?
