A review of The Rock by Elijah pink - Thursday 4th of May 2006

Firstly the picture above is not of the rock.Its..well somewhere elsa. The rock down cherryhinton road however is a lovely spacious venue, not long taken over by it's present landlord.I've found it to be very friendly. The opening hours are a little arcaic, not really taking advantage of the new licencing laws. The great thing is the new landlord seems to really like his music and has many great evenings involving local musicians. It has become a great venue for local bands and jam nights.Truely smashing!
