"Curry King - defence"
A review of Curry King by Curry Prince - Friday 5th of May 2006
As a waiter at the curry king i feel that some of the comments made are hypocritical and the one about 30 people or something getting food poisoning is a brilliant work of fiction most probably concieved by a rival restaurant.
Students complaining of a squashed and load atmosphere is pretty silly considering they are the ones that book for 30 and bring 40, and jump around on the tables yelling across the room.
The curry king tries it's best to accomodate everyone and that is perhaps it's downfall as it tends not to turn people away meaning that bookings fall behind and people have to wait around.
I feel that the restaurant is a great value place for students and tries to accomodate all and the food is of good quality.
As for service; how would you feel if you had to work in such a busy place where snobby locals and cheeky students are harrassing you all the time? you wouldn't exactly be happy and merry all the time.
So i suggest that if you don't like the place, don't come back because, to be honest, (considering that most of you are complaining of overcrowdedness) the place seems to be doing ok whether you moaners go or not.
