A review of La Margherita by Roman Arrantes - Thursday 6th of July 2006
The people that have written good reviews must work for the restaurant!!!
I am a food critic for a prominant national newspaper, and I ALWAYS give an honest and fair review.
I can say with much confidence that this is the worst Italian restaurant in Cambridgeshire that I have visited. I would quite happliy travel to Huntingdon barefooted on glass and visit a real Italian restaurant like Prima than ever eat here again.
House wine was ALPA which sells at 2 bottles for £4 at the local shops and tastes like a clever mixture of acid and arsnic. OK a little over the top but im sure you get the idea.
Service awfully rude and inefficient, how many things did he have to remember to forget!!!!
Anyway bottom line is awful awful awful. Quoting 'Friends' 'If i was to go again I would have to order two meals, one for myself and one for the man holding a gun to my head'.
