"Happy to work here"
A review of Toni & Guy Hairdressers by Employed - Sunday 23rd of July 2006
I want to say how disapointing and upsetting it is to read some of the reviews posted here.
I love my job, the company I work for but most of all the people I work with. I must admit I myself had a few preconcieved ideas about the type of people who do this kind of work but I'm happy to say I was proven to be wrong in every respect, they are warm and caring individuals, all with their own personal style and a refusal to conform to what many see as a stereotype of a hairdresser. The salon has a fantastic atmosphere and we have many clients remark on how well we all get along as we are more like a family than work collegues.
We are ALWAYS more than happy to accomodate clients in any way we can if they are not 100% satisfied with the service or end result of any visit, if that opinion is voiced to us it is rectified, but we can do nothing to fix a problem if we don't know it exists!
With regards to the people who have been making personal attacks on Toni&Guy employees, I can assure you that we are all well educated (which is yet to be shown in many of the comments I have read about our salon). While every member of staff may not be able to write an essay discussing Intelligent Design Theory, we excell in our chosen field - the art of styling hair and customer service.
The majority of our clients are regulars who have been coming to the salon for up to 20 years and the list gets longer everyday!
I urge anyone who reads the negative reviews regarding the salon to think carefully about the person who has written it, as Cambridge is not that big a city with many hair salons all competing for the same clients. Web pages like this one are often seen as an easy way to get one over on their biggest rival, which we are seen as due to the global marketing of Toni&Guy.
