Im a halfords employee And I'd just like to say people have bad experiences because firstly we are always understaffed - this is due to all sales assistants across the company being on minimum wage which makes recruitment hard and thus moral is exceedingly low. Also that every one who comes into the store expects one on one service with a shop assistant, I’m fortunate to come from a background in the motor trade but 70% of the colleagues at my store have received little or no training on technical information. Although the first thing we learn is how to use the till....you can figure that one out for yourselves !
Don’t blame the clueless shop staff , blame the people higher up the chain.
