The previous review may have been just, but the Rose and Crown has recently been taken over by a new Landlord. The pub is now extremely popular catering for the Gay comunuity. At the the begining of September 2006 the premesis will be completly refurbished adding a whole new dimension to the pub.

This pub is well worth a visit now and there is a lot going on for people to enjoy, Karaoke, Disco, and specialist evenings (ask inside for details) along with acts and shows, the Rocky Horror will be staged on the Bank Holiday Sunday, and the staff are rehearsing for their xmas panto as i write.
