A review of Tatties Cafe Restaurant by LEQETO - Tuesday 15th of August 2006

Tatties was great in Regent Street when the 1980s baked spud fad was on. Take a simple baked spud and tart it up. The fancier fillings the better! The new place suffers because of its location - it still has the quaint 1920s decor, but it's overshadowed by so many grotty buildings. I find Sussex Street really grim!

The baked spud I had at Tatties a few weeks ago did not seem to be as generous with the filling as the old place, but it was still delicious!
