"Have a little compassion"
A review of Toni & Guy Hairdressers by Anonymous - Thursday 14th of September 2006
I used to work for Toni & Guy and believe me the bosses are pressing to the fact that all staff must live up to the expectations set by other Toni & Guy salons throughout the country. The workforce is constantly changing as they dont meet the standards set, and throughout my time there the number of people sacked on averaged was about 2/3 a month, that's stylists, technicians and juniors. What you have to understand is that they are actually doing in house training therefore it will be alot more hectic. Granted they shouldn't have charged you if you weren't happy with the colour, by law you were entitled make another appointment for them to correct it and then charge you for that colouring, not the prior one. (Within the salon I worked at we offered a discount if this occured) As for the coffee you should've flippin said something! Do you not have the ability to speak up, do you have any idea how hard it is to train within the company? I'm sure there are moments within your job where people make mistakes but if you don't say anything there and then what do you expect them to do. Give you a couple of quid to go to the coffee shop!!!!! I apologise if I come across as abrupt but it's hard work training at Toni & Guy and nobody gives you enough credit. I understand your upset with them but if it was that bad why did you pay? If you'd argued enough you'd have got what you wanted.
