"Pizza - what pizza!"
A review of Pizza Hut by Anonymous - Wednesday 4th of October 2006
On my first visit, I ordered chicken Caesar salad, only to be told that it had run out, but that I could have the salad bar. When I asked if I could have the lettuce from the salad bar as a Caesar salad the message that came back from the manager on duty that evening was ‘no’. Our waitress was, obviously, embarrassed by his response, and I was so upset by his attitude that we left the restaurant without eating.
On my next visit I ordered lasagne, which arrived stone cold in the middle. I asked for it to be sent back to ensure that it was heated properly and, by the time my meal was returned to me, my family had finished both their main course and their sweet and were ready to leave.
The next time we visited we were planning to order one of the meal deals that had been advertised on the television. Before we were seated we were told that we couldn’t have any of the meal deals because the restaurant had run out of potato wedges and garlic bread! Surely, an alternative could have been offered and would have shown a greater level of customer service than just telling people that, because of the restaurant’s inability to order sufficient stocks of menu items, that the deals were off.
Imagine my amazement when we went to our local restaurant last night, at the request of my son, to find that we couldn’t order nachos as the restaurant had run out!! This was early on a Tuesday evening – this was not over a busy weekend or late in the evening – so why were there no nachos?
What a waste of time!
