"Review of Kamis"
A review of Kamis by Colin Garnett - Wednesday 7th of May 2003
We visited Kamis on two ocasions and found the food delicious, well-presented and, we thought, inexpensive after having been overcharged in several other "tourist" cafes earlier in the day. The housewine was a superb Montepulciano for under a tenner and not the usual nondescript plonk that many places foist on their unsuspecting clientele. The staff provided a warm welcome and offered a pleasant, friendly, but thankfully not an obsequious service. We particularly enjoyed the mixed menu of Greek and Italian dishes. The two aubergine main courses were a delight. We shall go again when next in Cambridge.
