In response to the review of the lloyds tsb call centre it is obvious this person has never worked in that sort of environment before - all call centres - and i have worked in quite a few - natwest, british gas, hsbc - have the same systems, the same "get rid of the cust asap" routine because they are all rewarded on statistics. And being timed at going to the loo is commonplace. Therefore i think it is slightly unfair to label lloyds tsb the culprit when they are all the same. As for working at lloyds tsb i am quite happy there, they have given me alot of opportunity to learn new things and i feel i am a valued member of the team. Although I must add i work at a branch not a call centre and i do feel that our values are different - maybe thats because we have the custs infront of us not just at the end of a phone. I also feel that at the end of the day it is down to each individual to make a stand against things that are wrong so that they can be addressed and corrected. And that each person should make an effort to be a nice person whilst also being good at their job.
