"Review of HSBC Bank"

A review of HSBC Bank by Christian Keenan - Wednesday 14th of May 2003

I have banked with HSBC for the last five years. I have never been presented with any problems from them. It is true that you must have a cash card to withdraw money. However, they will let you withdraw money if you have a word with yur advisor.

I have moved house twice completed a degree and went on many holidays in the last several years. HSBC have pulled out the stops repeatedly to help me.

I am on first name terms with my branch manager and get an excellent standard of service back in Liverpool.

I can understand that they prefer to encourage online banking and route customer calls through automated centres due to the scalability of the business. However, if there is no HSBC open in Cambridge of a Saturday I find that dissapointing having just moved here.

For me my experiences of HSBC have only ever been positive.
