Double glazing salespeople have a pitch, which includes a 'promotional' price for a reason. The reason is without that they could not make a sale on the night - and therefore NEVER! The fact is that consumers are lazy and greedy - therefore this tactic works 33.33% of the time (and that's enough). Customers who insist on a written quote do little with it. Customers that say that they will call back tomorrow, or in a month's time, don't - EVER! These methods of selling - if you think about it - are little removed from the 'January', 'Blue Cross', 'BOGOF' sales that you see every day, in every shop and forecourt. So, consider this, if you feel that you are apparently 'Wise' to sales techniques: Every day you buy a car, sofa, fresh bread or just a daily newspaper - you did it because someone wanted you to!
