A review of Welcome Finance by Anonymous - Saturday 3rd of February 2007

If you all had any idea of the number of people who take massive loans with Welcome & don't pay a PENNY back, you might understand why the rates are high. They deal with many people who quite frankly take the company for Thousands of pounds without ANY intent to repay in the 1st place.

I wrote off a car on finance with a main stream lender & I still had a bill to pay afterwards - IT'S THE RISK YOU TAKE BY HAVING A CAR ON FINANCE. My advise, try saving the money your committing yourself to paying Welcome every month, for a year, and buy yourself a car instead. Also if you are getting a car on finance try to barter with the car salesman as much as you would if you were paying cash. Too many people are paying over the odds for the car in the 1st place then blame Welcome when 2 years down the line (and a few missed payments) they still owe a fortune on a car they then can't hand back beacuse they've missed payments !
