i was a zenith installer, and was constantly in the firing line, we would turn up with a smile eager to get on, only to be met by dissilusioned and somewhat angry customers, we would be informed that we were 2 days late, we hadnt even phoned, that the customer had been on the phone for 2 days, its not even nine oclock yet,what else could happen. so we would set about getting the material of the van , hopefully we can put things right with the customer, impress them with our craftsmanship. wait a minute, this isnt the right stuff , but its whats on the paperwork we would say, whos the surveyor, we would read the surveyors report, staring hoping maybe somehow it would change, make itself right and i wouldnt have to inform the customer we wouldnt be starting today. im sure in a company this size there are shoddy fitters but the real shoddywork comes way before the installers arrive
