A review of Footlights Restaurant & Bar by Martin - Monday 19th of February 2007
I went there earlier last week after a year and I could see a big changes. I was part of group of four people and upon on arrival we were sat on a big round table by the window, which was comfy and nice and the atmosphere of the place was pretty relaxing. Food was amazing. I had a duck wrap although I wasn't sure at first but very helpful Serbian waitress assured me it was lovely and it really was. The service was great, really friendly and chatty girl and that's how it should be everywhere. She knows how to look after customers without being intrusive. The only thing my friend was not pleased with was the state of the ladies room, but men's was more or less ok. And the other thing which we didn't like is service charge added on top of the bill, I think it's customers choice whether he/she want to tip their waiter/waitress. In my case I wanted to put much more then service charge was, which I did, but also I am wondering whether this girl gonna get any penny out of it.
But again, if we put this aside everything was excellent.
