I love Chilli's - the food is great (if a little variable) and there's always a great atmosphere (though not to everyone's tastes; it can get very loud and crowded). It's not really Mexican food but Tex-Mex (this is an American chain, after all). Sometimes the service can be a little poor, but some of the more experienced staff there are the best you could hope for. It's definitely worth trying, but I can see why some people might be put off! Oh, and the cocktails are usually pretty good too!
