"Maybe a s**t hole but keeps the clients happy"

All people over eighteen know that the regal is absolutely dreadful. full of chavs galore and mainly underage at that (although id checking at the door seems to be a good idea - i used to be able to get in by smiling sweetly and flashing a secondary school student card). but however, the clientele are always happy with the cheap drinks, sport watching, two bars and now music. i worked at all bar one for a bit and after our shift, the regal was always good for comfortable surroundings, a few after work drinks and a general moan about our boss.
lets face it, the clientele love the regal. but for the rest of us cambridge lot, i would prefer better places. for example the baron (thumbs up),ta bouche and later la raza (funkiest and best place in cambridge)
