"Awful food and service"A review of Anatolia by Tariq - Thursday 22nd of March 2007Advertisements
Went to Anatolia on a Sunday afternoon. Showed to first floor annexe and later found out why.. the lower floor not open 'cos not enough people.. good enough. But service was 'couldn't care less' and 'why are you here bothering us' - when we got service. Meat had obviously been heated up in a pan or micro rather than on the charcoal grill - they obviously did not have the grill on as not enough people to warrant it but thought they could pretend by shoving us upstairs. Another couple came, sat down and left 'cos no-one bothered to speak to them. Another chap complained about cold chicken wings only to have them taken away and returned 1 minute later steaming hot (microwaved obviously) and the waiter toweering over the poor chap as if to say try complaining about the temp. now.. Really awful. Try Al Casbah on Mill Rd instead as the food is always good and cooked in front of you. Oh, and cheaper. |
