Why should you get a discount? £199.99 was the retail price for a Palomar, you hand over money and you get a bike what more do you expect? The margins on bikes are tight, shrinkage like this caused by demanding customers has lead to many a bike shop going bust purely through goodwill. The trader is not indebted to you because you are parting with money.
