"Wonderful and a bargain"
A review of Tandoori Palace by Phil - Friday 30th of March 2007
My friends and I have often visited the Tandoori Palace over the last few years, and it never disappoints. The food is "tasteful" and very good value. My personal favourite dish is the chicken sali, but most of them are excellent. The jalfrezi also deserves a special mention, but be warned that it is quite feisty. The mango lassi is top notch too, and the perfect drink to go with your meal. The only dish I've ever been less than 100% satisfied with is the kurma, which is sometimes a little too sweet. As if cheap, great food weren't enough the staff are very friendly and helpful. In fact they're so helpful they once gave me two pints of milk when I'd run out -- and I'd only called in to ask where the nearest shops were! In my opinion, the Tandoori Palace is the best indian restaurant in Cambridge (and I've tried most of them).
