We purchased a sofa a couple of years ago from S W in Guildford, having seen the sofa but not the 'linen' fabric which we chose. We had frustrating delivery arrangements(I was in hospital having our baby, missed a phonecall, and then our sofa was 'given' to another customer and we had to wait another six or so weeks), but the sofa finally arrived, and we werent happy with the quality of the fabric, or the sofa, which i felt looked cheap. Having no joy from numerous frustrating telephone calls (waiting for ages, then having the phone cut off!?, speaking to customer service assistants who all said different things) we finally worked out that we were only 10 mins down the road from head office. I drove there with our letter of complaint, and dropped it in personally! Finally we got the help we needed. The sofa was picked up and taken away. Phew! |
