Long story short, I'm now "washing" my OWN travelers cheques because I signed in the "lower right hand corner" and Amex refuses to cancel or refund the cheques despite I have proof of purchase from my bank, the receipt of purchase, and all cheques in series!

Acetone works great by the way!
