"Gone downhill, but I wont give up on it yet!"

I've been going to the CQ for 20 years and its normal consistent service and quality has taken a knock under the new management. We were directed to a table recently without enough chairs, and then left to sort it out for ourselves. We weren't offered menus, and despite some staff hanging around, they were all more interested in a large party than regular customers. Eventually a waiter shouted over from the bar 'drink, boss?', which wasn't up to the service Migs and company used to deliver. We got charged £3 for a Soda water (not mineral water) and after 15 minutes without even being offered a menu, we went elsewhere. I wont give up on it yet, and will try it once more in case it was just an off night.
