A review of Pizza Hut by Waiter! - Monday 14th of May 2007
Jeez i dont work for pizza hut but i am waiter. I work for one american restaurant in uk. I dont mind waiting on the tables but im getting tired with some tw**s waiting at the door 15 minutes before were even open...just to get the fu*** burger. And yes i always do my best to serve everyone in the way they should be served but people coming for a cheap burger having their spree vouncher ready before i even get their drinks dont understand that we are working for minimum wage getting an extra 5% tip (yes the average tip is 5 percent or less not 10 or 20, some people leave you 10 or more but a lot 1% or nothing at all, even if the service is good and theres nothing to complain about) and very often we are understaffed because someones just walked out, someones sick an so on. working on a double shift 11-23 running up and down the restaurant, welcoming customers, taking bookings, sitting customers, getting sauces, taking drink and food orders, putting orders through, preparing drinks, delivering drinks, checking on tables, printing bills, handling money, refilling drinks, delivering food and drinks, clearing tables, reseting tables, polishing cutlery and finally cleaning someones pukes.
now multiply that by 10+ tables... Can you do everything 'on time'?... 7-12 hrs per day non stop everyday. we have a right to make mistakes and be treated with essential respect...if you dont like that go to f***en asda buy some food and cook at home! and dont come again...we wont cry... party of 4 - bill 80 pounds, 1 pound tip. cheers.
