"Review of The Granta"

A review of The Granta by Geoff - Monday 26th of May 2003

Well the Granta's my favourite pub in Cambridge so I feel bound to defend it against anon.
Pros: Riverside, outdoor area, nice indoor atmosphere, not too touristy or crowded (unlike The Anchor), good deals and specials, sport (esp. rugby) on the TV, OK music in the evenings, table football, barstaff have always seemed nice to me. Recently, quiz night on Monday. Fish and chips for weekend lunches.
Cons: A bit pricey. Did away with Sky for a while (back now). Food value for money not always great.

NB I'm not a big 'real beers' fan. Hopefully some of you will give my review more respect because of this.
