"Brilliant Cafe adding to the community"

A review of Tishka by Katherine Muir - Sunday 20th of May 2007

Tishka is a relaxed cafe with good food, tasty salads and friendly staff. Eddie the owner offers great hospitality, knows his customers by name and is genuinely interested in all who call in. Great breakfasts and lunches served with a smile. Tishka has brought the standard of the row of shops on Chesterton Road up by leaps and bounds. It is a place the local community use, where rowers down bacon and eggs on Saturday mornings, where old friends can meet for a coffee, where families can enjoy a get together, where anyone can grab a snack on the way to work. My daughters live on his salads which they buy on their way to school and college. Small but overflowing with warmth Eddie and his family have worked hard to create a great community asset.
