I agree with the comment that another Halfords employee has made in this review. In my store it is not uncommon to be dreadfully understaffed, by which I mean having only 5 people working the store instead of 12. I was included, having to cover the cashier.

I am only part time and to be honest I have not a clue about cars in general, nor bikes. I just work there as a Saturday boy.

The only skills I have picked up is Paint Mixing, Basic till stuff and Wiper Blade fitting. Other things I could have a crack at but I don't have the confidence and have never been properly taught. I am sure I could fit a headlamp bulb, a roofbox or make a number plate if I was taught.
