"Review of Stead & Simpson"
A review of Stead & Simpson by Diane King - Wednesday 28th of May 2003
Just to say that I visited this Cambridge store today (just before 3pm) and was among many customers all receiving excellent treatment from one particular shop assistant. This blonde lady (whose name I do not know) served a whole shop full of customers with a pleasant manner, ordered shoes and delivered the right size to everybody, whilst single handedly operating 2 tills. She even suggested similar styles when my chosen pair did not fit ( which she noticed) then ordered similar pairs in a smaller size until I found the ideal pair.
I have never been treated so courteously by someone who was so obviously busy but coping superbly. I just wondered if her bosses knew what a brilliant worker they had. In fact I am sorry to see on the website that I cannot contact a senior member of Stead and Simpson to tell them that this lady should receive some sort of recognition for outstanding service!
