"A great family pub"
A review of The Seven Stars by Anon - Tuesday 29th of May 2007
On first visiting this establishment you may be surprised by the sheer volume of teenage single mothers; don't let this put you off: it's what keeps the price of the Odessa Vodka down and measures at 75ml. A word of caution to the wind is that it is that certain topics of discussion are more contentious than others. Mentioning work, politics, education or health is a big no no. This place is a family pub but not in the traditional sense of the word. Its whole community is one big family but I fall just short of saying happy. Tears at closing time, and disputes over dead ex-boyfriends being the norm it is best to leave before the toll of the bell. The food is of reasonable quality; but then, I'm biased since I always have had a penchant for microwave food. A "charming" place. Worthy of a visit, if only for the sake of science.
