I have to say that my dealings with everyone at welcome have been great, i've had a few problems in the past with my own company and welcome were great at giving me the finance to buy my landrover. I always keep them up to date and have had a payment holiday a couple of times and they've been marvellous. The essential thing is to always keep them informed and get to know your account manager who is the best person to help with problems. I'm two years into a a four year agreement but have been paying £50 more each month so if I don't renew my car I'll have it paid off in 38 months. 
Whenever I've had a major mechanical bill on the car I've phoned them and explained and had a payment holiday catching up further down the line. Yes they're not the cheapest finance but for offering people like myslef who are considered sub-prime borrowers(a higher credit risk) then Welcome are the best around!
