A review of La Mimosa by Growbag - Monday 11th of June 2007
I love La Mimosa. Good Italian food, nothing too fancy, at very reasonable prices. The service is great, and they don't do rubbish things like charge you for bottled water instead of bringing you tap water. The view from the windows or the terrace is perfect - watching the river and the rowers without having to put up with the antics of the tourists. I keep thinking I ought to find somewhere else in Cambridge to eat for a bit of variety, but at the end of the day I don't know anywhere else where you can get great food in peace and quiet, yet be so near the centre of town. I have been in there with my children, with my parents and with friends and every time it's been perfect. In fact, just typing this review is making me hungry.....
