"MFI compulsory delivery charges?"

When we chose a simple 4 draw cabinet and paid for it, we were told we had to have it delivered, and had to pay for delivery. Because we insisted that we wanted to collect, the manager waived part of the delivery fee. Surely, if delivery is compulsory, the price goods are displayed at is not accurate, as you have to add on the delivery fee. Is this legal?
