I have a bad credit history - 2 CCJs and a number of defaults. I applied to Welcome Finance online and soon after received an e-mail asking me to contact them. I spent about 10 minutes on the phone going through my budget, and my whole credit file answering questions about who I owed money to. It was very depressing and I thought they would never give me a loan after all that. But they have! I had asked for £3000 and they offered up to £4500 over 3 years. I only wanted the £3000. I am assured the papers will be in the post today. The interest rate is high but I was prepared for that, and it enables me to pay off some more expensive debts. So watch this space but so far so good.
