"POOR FOOD"

A review of The Eagle by Mark Desmond - Tuesday 7th of August 2007

A decent pub, although the current proprietors have managed to give it the dreary atmosphere of a chain
pub. Considering the pubs history this is a real shame. Following the chain pub theme, the food is shocking (Not untypical in this gastronimic wasteland we call England) I had fish and chips, all of which were frozen and processed. The batter to fish ratio was at least 2 - 1 OK for a quick drink, but if your peckish try elsewhere.
