MFI have a bad name withi the industry for faulty of flawed products, given the fact that every delivery company be it food, furniture of whatever has a percentage of damages. Put to blame alot of the time is the consumer who believs his/her DIY skills are better than they actually are. As for delivery charges, all delivery companies carry a delivery charge (usually hidden in the price of the unit), where as MFI display the charge freely. If you can imagine you are sending a lorry out to deliver JUST a bedside cabinet, it is going to cost? where as if you bought a full kitchen range the price is justified right? as you take up a full van. So therefore if you do not want to pay delivery for an item you are buying then sure enough you will not get the item as it will not appear at your house as if by magic.
Complaining about a company charging delivery charges maybe you should look a the budget you are using to purchase your products, maybe MFI's quality is too expensive. So to round off instead of complaining about paying a delivery charge you need to shop at a pick and pay furniture centre where the product is of a very low quality and will default after a month or two. On the other hand if you want good quality products and a reasonable price then choose MFI.
