"New Olan Mills update"
A review of Olan Mills by Old and new - Tuesday 4th of September 2007
I worked for the old olan mills in nw and we used to have about 25 sittings on a saturday with just 10 minutes to do each shoot..we never got a lunch and our average was very poor. now we give up to half an hour in a shoot where customers bring in toys for kids and change of outfits, our studio is averaging around 5-8 shoots a day (some days only 2 if there are no-shows) and our average is massive! we are doing well over a hundred average on occassion and i think we are the only studio to of sold a £700 package, £900 package and a various between £400 and £500. unfortunately tho as hard as we work and as much as people are willing to pay for the photos (even old wmg customers) we are still let down by the plant, sending wrong images, damaged frames and customers still having to wait 6 weeks until they recieve their prints. apart from that we seem to be doing ok... but havent seen any incentives or comission... or even a rise in our bonus pay which we are supposed to be reviewed on every 3 months.. and now we are in a possition where we will be without a manager until a new one is found... 3rd time lucky maybe!!!
