"Review of Canadian Muffin Co"A review of Canadian Muffin Co by Francis - Tuesday 10th of June 2003Advertisements
I recently lost a leather jacket in Canadian Muffin. I went to the restaurant about 8 am and had breakfast there. Unfortunately, I forgot to pick up my jacket from the seat upon leaving. I only realise it when it was time for me to go home (from work). I then figured it out that I had probably left the jacket in the restaurant. When I got to the restaurant, the woman serving in the shop, said she remembers me leaving the jacket and went on to fetch it where she had preserved it for me. Unfortunately it was not there. She then said the place where she left it was open to the public and anyone could have taken it. While appreciate the efforts taken by the staff in trying to place the jacket in a safe place (from which it was stolen), I did not like the language and treatment accorded to me. I was forced out of the restaurant and the door shut in my face while they phoned the police and gave them their own version of events. One of their boys even went on to comment "it is only a jacket". Indeed it is only a jacket but I am not like the jacket and should not be treated as such. Canadian Muffin is a very convenient place for a quick meal especially due to its location in the city. I am not here to tarnish its image but to state facts. Francis. |
