"Scruffs products"

The cut that you get at Scruffs is of a a good standard, my niggle is the products that they use on your hair, that is why I stopped going. I have my hair coloured permanently every six weeks, obviously this is going to take it's toll on your hair over time. However, having switched to Scruffs upon countless recommendations I was disappointed to find that they used L'Oreal salon products for colouring. after only one colour treatment I noticed my hair was definitely drier, after two more colours it became clear that l'Oreal and my hair just don't get along!!! At around £120 for a cut and colour I expect better quality products on my hair, so...I switched hairdressers, pay about 50 quid less and my hair is back to it's former shiny self.
Also, I'm not big into what a place looks like, as if the cut is good who cares? But they charged top whack prices and the downstairs where they wash your hair made me nervous on the first visit...it made me feel like they were going to put a blue rinse in!!!!! Seriously in need of a decor overhaul!!!!
