This weekend I ate at Le Gros Franck for the third time. It was as good as ever: friendly, attentive service, and delicious food. Particular highlights for me included the goat's cheese tart with truffle honey, the crayfish and wild mushroom salad, the confit de canard and the homemade fig ice cream. Outside of the colleges, you won't get a better three course meal in Cambridge for under £21. Oh, the house red was very pleasant too!
