"Welcome finance Loan- Help"

I have recently applied for a loan of £3000 with welcome. I know all about the APR and I have read the reviews. However, I still want to take out the loan as my credit rating is bad and I need the money. I have applied elsewhere and been turned down.
I had the phone conversation with Welcome and was told repayments etc and that I have been accepted. I am now waiting for the documents to arrive so that I can sign and send back.
Can you please tell me if anyone has then been refused at this stage? ie: after signing agreement and sending I.D as I am worried and have made commitments. Any comments about this would be helpful
